Been long time not updating my blog. I was a bit busy splitting my time between works, education, and hobbies. Since I finished my study last year, so it’s time to comeback to my blog. As I see in Bali there is many people start to invest in a hotel, villa and apartment, today I would like to share you a simple tips before buying a property or villa resort for sale in Indonesia:
1. Define your Budget
Everybody should know how much they will pay to buy a villa or resort in Bali, Gili Trawangan, or any other area in Indonesia. They think it is cheap to buy a property in Indonesia for sale. But if you want to get a high ROI, then you should know your budget of investment. Your benefits should be higher than your investment. Prepare and plan your budget well before investing in a villa resort in Indonesia.
2. Find A Preferred Location
There are many areas in Indonesia to invest a property. But which do you think is the best location to buy a resort or villa in Indonesia? Of course some people will automatically think of Bali and Gili Trawangan as the best islands in Indonesia to develop a property business. But if you don’t think so, just decide which locations is the best for your.
Buying a villa resort in Indonesia is not as simple as you think. We should ask about its legality for our own safety. So, when you find a good villa resort to invest in, make sure it has a complete legal document, so you will invest safely without finding any trouble.
If you are interested in Indonesia property sales, there is a brand new resort which are still in progress of development in Bali called Cocana Resorts. This resorts will be located in two prime locations in Indonesia, Bali and Gili Trawangan. Under Mirah Property Group management, these resorts offers a high ROI and benefits for the owners who buy some units of villas.
Ibu Jero Amer Ambari, a pro hand painter from Bali, sell a Unique Balinese Painting for paying her daughter’s school fee.
Ibu Jero Amer Ambari is one of the best Balinese Painter I have ever met.
At the first time meeting, I knew her as a chip seller who always comes to my office in Denpasar to sell her chips. She walks from Batubulan to Denpasar, which need approximately 2 hours walking:
She did it everyday just to sell snacks from door to door. She do it because she really need money to pay tuition fee for her daughter who is still studying in a highschool.
But, one day she came to my office with a beautiful painting on her hand. She said she needs more money to pay the debt for her daughter school. What is interesting is we never knew that she is a good painter. Well, you can judge, look at ther painting!
She said she prefer to do something and sell it rather than ask for donation. She want to work with her passion: paint something, but don’t know how to promote.
My manager was automatically interested to buy it. He also promote her painting in his Instagram, hoping somebody wants to buy a good painting from her. By the way, if you guys are in Bali and don’t know what to buy for unforgettable and unique souvenir please call her: +62 81 999 508 211
see a beautiful sunrise from Bukit Surga Bali! Find out out experience of welcoming sunrise in this Bali camp spot!
On August 2018, I went to the East of Bali, Karangasem. In this corner of Bali, we can find many camp spots. Bukit Surga (English: Hill of Heaven), is one of the best camping spot in Karangasem, Bali.
By the way, Me and my friend get lost while trying to find where Bukit Surga actually is. But then we met somebody that was really kind and show us the right way to go there. After 10 minutes, we finally found it.
We were a bit surprised, as we were charged approximately between 75.000-120.000 per person. And.. there was a wifi in there.
We were thinking if we brought our laptop, we can actually work in there, as my friends and I are digital marketers and developpers. Could be called as workaholic? But suddenly just realize and don’t wanna think about our job. Because we want a holiday! 😂😂
I have had a good time with my friend by camping in Bukit Asah. We have had a barbecue, told a stories, sung a song before sleeping and saw the beautiful sunrise in there.
I really recommend this place to enjoy your weekend with your partner, friends, or family in Bali. It’s important to get relax and refresh our mind after a busy week-days. Happy weekend everybody!
Travel to Lombok, visit Sade Village or Desa Sade in lombok for an amazing cultural experience in Lombok
if you are planning a trip to Lombok and wanna learn their culture, I strongly recommend you guys to visit Desa Sade. Desa means Village. And it is a traditional tourist village located in Central Lombok district. This tourist village is managed by local government and community or local tribe that is called as Sasak People.
In this village, there are many things that worth to know, especially for their cultural life. So, here are the unique things to know in Sade Village:
1. Weaving in Sade
Sasak Sade villagers, must learn weaving, especially women. The guide said:
“if you want to get married Sasak People, then you should learn weaving. If you don’t know how to weave, then you are not ready to get married yet.”
It’s funny and unique right? I think it is the good way to conserve their unique culture. By the way, for those who are looking for souvenir, kain tenun might be the best for you to choose. Kain means fabric, and tenun refers the progress of making or weaving. So, kain tenun is an original fabric made by Sasak people using weaving technique. It will cost approximately between Rp 100.000 to Rp 500.000. If you want a cheaper souvenir, you can buy their weaved bracelet which costs Rp 5.000 – Rp 20.000. I bought one for my sister. It is also to appreciate the local people who made it. The bracelet is quiet unique and simple. I like it!
2. Traditional House
The Sade’s houses are made from bamboo, wood and dried grass roof, has a very unique architecture. The floor is made from clay. What is unique from the house is that the floor are all covered by cow dung to prevent the mosquitoes. Even if it’s covered by cow dung, there was no bad smell of the cow dung at all. Wonderful right?
To visit Sade Village, you can take a car or just drive a motorcycle, just like what I was doing with my friends from the Lombok Capital. I was staying in Mataram and I spent approximately 1 hour to reach the village. This place is recommended for you who are craving cultural adventure and unique story about Lombok tribes. I’d really love to visit Lombok again someday!
How about you guys? Have you ever been in Lombok?

Here are 2 fun things to do while you visit Sanur Beach Bali
Just got an idea for today’s blog post which will be about ….. Biking in Sanur area.
Sanur is one of famous beaches in Bali where we can see beautiful sunrise every morning and enjoy “Lumpia Bali” (a traditional snack) at the same time. FYI, there are many versions of Lumpia in every region of Indonesia. The most famous Lumpia in Indonesia is in Semarang.
But actually, Bali also have their own Lumpia, which we can find around Sanur and Renon. But please don’t forget to litter in the proper place after you eat Lumpia. Sometime I still can find Lumpia’s wrap on the beach sand. And it’s not really good at all.
Remember to keep the area for better future. Right? 😊
So.. What we can do in Sanur?
In Sanur, we can rent a canoe and float on the sea. It cost IDR 15.000,00. and you’ll be free canoeing for 1 hour.
Same as renting a canoe, you can rent a bike in Sanur, which also cost IDR 15.000,00/hour. It’s recommended to do in the morning 7 am where you will get morning fresh air.
If you are stayin’ in Sanur, don’t forget to try these fun activities. Get more experience and healthier body at the same time in Sanur! 😘
